PHOTOGRAPHS

If you would like to commission either a pet or family member portrait, you will need to provide a good quality photograph so that I can see not only the fine details of the face but also the subjects character.

You can see in the examples below that the one on the left is a good picture to draw from. You can see Bob's character in his eyes (by the way he's one of our pooches!). If you zoom in on the image the details are very clear. However, in the image on the right (again a photo of Bob) its taken further away in worse light. You can't see his character as well as the other image and on zooming in its quite blurry.

The better quality the image the better your portrait will be.

I appreciate that you may want a portrait of a pet or family member that unfortunately is no longer with us. If this is the case and you only have a few photos please contact me, I will always do my best to help.
