COMMISSIONS PRICE LIST
My current prices are as below, all sizes are approximate and are based on paper size:

Prices are based on a standard head & shoulders portrait, there is a 25% booking fee to secure your commission space.
Other sizes can be provided on request, please contact me
Please see below my current prices for portrait commissions, based on portraits in coloured or graphite pencil with no background. Where possible my portraits will come double mounted and unframed. This is offered at no extra charge and is dependant on the timeframe for the portrait.
Commissioning a portrait can be very personal, particularly if arranging a memorial portrait. I will discuss your requirements and agree a full quote before starting your artwork. I am available every step of the way!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
I try to keep the process of commissioning a portrait as simple as possible, and I'm always available to answer any questions you have.
1. Find a suitable photo or photos and choose a size that you would like your portrait. I'm happy to draw people or pets and I understand that for memorial portraits a good quality photo may not be available. Please contact me and I can take a look at what you have and will do my best to help. Your photos can be sent via email (darren@gwatkinartworks.co.uk) or with the contact form above.
2. Once I receive your photos I will work closely with you to ensure we both agree on your drawings composition. Once we have agreed the details of your artwork and I have started your drawing, alterations to the layout and overall basic design cannot be done. .My standard portraits are head and shoulder with no background so any extras may add an extra charge. We will discuss this and will agree a fixed price before starting any work. Due to the time involved to create your artwork, a non-refundable 25% booking fee is required to secure your order and add you to my commissions list.
3. Once started your portrait can take between 2 to 4 weeks, depending on size and composition. When finished I will send you a sample image. At this stage I will request the remaining balance and once received I will post your completed hand drawn original artwork.
Postage and Packing is £15 to addresses in the UK. Your drawing will be well packaged to ensure its safety.
I am happy to accept commissions worldwide but please contact me for postage costs to your location.
I include mounts on all commissions unless requested otherwise. Frames are not included.
